PRIMARY & FURTHER PROCESSING

Ocean's Catch manages a primary processing facility dedicated to the cooking and packaging of North Atlantic Jonah Crab products. Operated as a joint venture with Rome Packing Co., the facility features large steam cookers and processing lines for sizing and scoring of frozen products, and for hand-picking crab meat for fresh products. Packaged product is held in on-site cold storage until shipment to our customers.

Our East Providence facility also has separate production space dedicated to the production of a wide range of value-added seafood products. These value-added products have been developed by Rome Packing and are marketed under the Ocean's Catch brand, the Rome Gourmet brand, and as various private label brands. Many of our key value-added products are made from the raw materials in which Ocean's Catch specializes; specifically: jonah crab, scallops, crawfish, clams and shrimp. In our facility, we produce clam cakes, stuffed clams, crab pies, clam sauces, seafood chowders, seafood butters and a popular line of specialty salads.

Ocean's Catch's production capabilities are designed for efficiency and customization to meet each customer's requirements. We welcome requests for custom product development and specialized packaging formats.
